A person will be filled with the words that they say

They will have to eat the fruit of it one day

Each one may think their getting by with this thing

Not realizing payday is soon coming

With the effect of our words we will be satisfied

Whether good or evil our lives will be tried

In the power of the tongue is life or death

They who indulge shall eat the fruit of it

It is better for us to have self control

Keeping our heart clean will make us whole

For out of the heart the mouth does speak

Speaking negative we will become weak

Start to prophecy good things in your life

Building yourself up in the Lord Jesus Christ

Speaking out to edify and exhort each other

Building up and being willing to suffer

What good is it when you speak evil?

Giving your tongue over to the devil

Letting him ruin and destroy your very life

When you could enjoy your life in Jesus Christ

So if you really want to see good in your life

Be willing to die, it’s no more I but Christ

You’ll never regret letting the Holy Spirit live

His life in you with your whole life to give

The peace of God passes all understanding

Giving your heart rest you won’t be contending

Live your life in the faithfulness of God

Surrendering to his wonderful love

So drop all contentions and quarrellings

Be willing to go God’s way in dying

To your own will and giving up completely

Allowing the cross to do its work continually
