Christ the Very High Priest of God wears on His Crown for all who receive Him, "Holiness Unto The Lord", and we can with boldness enter into the Holy of Holies by the Blood of Jesus Christ. I never have to doubt again that the Blood of the Lamb cleanses me.

 

The Rest Of God:
The rest of God is entering into holiness. The seventh day became holy because God rested in it. Genesis 2:2-3, And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

 

Hebrews 4:9-10
And God blessed the seventh day, set it apart as His own and hallowed it. Because on it God rested from all His work which He had created and done. Exodus 20:11, The Lord God set aside the seventh day for His purpose.

 

This is the day that is open for all true Believers to worship in. It is in Christ Jesus, He is the fulfillment of the Law. He is the true Sabbath, and all who want to truly worship in the Sabbath must come through Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!! He is our perfect Rest. And as we enter into His resurrection Life we will live a totally new way of living. We will really enter into His Rest, even as He rested in His Father so we rest in Him.

 

What a blessing to know Him as the very High Priest of our lives. He is interceding for us night and day, Just think of the great Love that He has for us, not only did He die for us, but now He will live for us. He is the way into the very plan of God. What is in God’s heart is found in Him. And we can life that abundant life to the full. All that is in the Father’s heart is for us. He wants us to search out His heart by His Holy Spirit. For Truly the Word of God states, that what eye has not seen nor ear has heard all that God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

 

Jesus Christ the very High Priest of God has went in before us and prepared the very sacrifice that was needed for us to offer, and now we can be pleasing to God through the Spirit of Christ. What Jesus Christ has done for us is forever, and we can always be in the Holy of Holies. We go in by the very Blood of the Lamb and through His torn flesh. Just think of the ultimate Sacrifice that the Son of God offered up to the Holy God! He went before us, and tore the curtain, When He said in His dying breath "It Is Finished," and then gave up the Ghost, The very curtain was torn from heaven down to earth in such a force, and all may enter into the very Holy of Holies by His Blood, by that very sacrifice that He made.

 

You see there is a curtain of flesh that stands before us and the very Holy of Holies, and the only way to have that curtain of flesh torn is to go through His torn flesh, that is His very death. Flesh and blood cannot enter into the Kingdom of God, and so there must be a death to our flesh every single day. There must be a choice that we make to enter into that very realm of His Holiness. And truly the true High Priest has went in before us.

 

Let us look at Hebrews 6:17-20

17.... Therefore, because God wanted more abundantly to show to the heirs of promise that His agreement was unchangeable, He sealed it by an oath, 18.... Thus, by the promise and by the oath, both of which are unchangeable, and in neither of which could God lie, we find courage to hold fast to the hope that has been promised by Him in whom we have taken refuge. 19.... That promise is like an anchor to us; it upholds the soul so that it may not be shaken, and it penetrates beyond the veil of the temple;

 

20.... Therein Jesus has previously entered into the temple for our sakes, and become the high priest forever after the order of Melchisedec.

What a glorious promise we have, that Jesus Christ will forever be that very High Priest. There will be no need for any other. He is the very King of Righteousness and the very King of Peace. What does a High Priest do? He stands in our place and represents us before a Holy God, and He forever has written on His forehead "Holiness Unto The Lord" There will never be another because Jesus Christ paid the debt in full. It will last forever, our right standing with a Holy God. The high priest in the old covenant had to offer sacrifices for their own sins first, and then for the people.

 

But look at Hebrews 7:25-27

Therefore He is able to save forever those who come to God by Him because He lives forever to make intercession for them. 26... For this is the kind of High Priest proper for us; pure, without evil and undefiled, far away from sin, and made Higher than the heavens; 27... And who needs not daily, as do those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for their own sins and then for the people’s; for this He did once when He offered up Himself.

 

So our High Priest is perfect for us, and never needs to take cares of His own needs first. He is ever ready to offer Himself freely to all that come to Him and who trust in Him. What a blessing it is to have such a powerful one who intercedes for us daily. He is a faithful and a merciful High Priest.

 

Look at Hebrews 4:14-16
We have therefore a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus Christ, The Son of God; let us remain firm in HIS FAITH. For we have not a high priest who cannot share our infirmities, but we have one who was tempted with everything as we are, yet with out sin. Let us therefore come openly to the throne of His grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

 

God had made an oath that He would make Jesus Christ a High Priest after the order of Melchisedec. Psalms 110 tells us that in verse 4.. The Lord has sworn, and will not lie. You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. And Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of that very Word. So many want to work out there own salvation in their own strength, But it will never happen because God would not get the Glory and flesh is not allowed into the Kingdom of God. While Jesus Christ was on this earth in His flesh and blood human nature He could not become or even think of being a High Priest.

 

He had to fulfill all the Law, and when He did, He then gave His life willingly to become that Sacrifice on the Cross and died the death of the whole Adam race and then on the third day He arose again from the grave to His rightful Place of High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. Hallelujah!! What a glorious Gospel we do have.

 

For God So Loved The World That He Gave His Only Begotten Son, That Whosoever Believeth In Him Shall Not Perish, But Have Eternal Life. That eternal life is the very life of His Son. There is no eternal life outside of Jesus Christ. He is the only way to that life. Blessed be the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. For God Sent Not His Son Into The World To Condemn The World, But That The World Might Be Saved Through His Son. Many try so many ways to be saved, But Oh, there is only One Way, and that is the Way of the Cross. Jesus Christ Paid the debt in full on Calvary, and all who trust in Him for that will be saved from the power of sin and the penalty of it. That is the only way to escape the Wrath of God is by the Blood of the Lamb.

 

Look at Romans 5:8-9

God has here manifested His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9... Much More then, being justified by His Blood we shall be delivered from wrath through Him. 10.... for if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, Much More, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

 

You see it is His Victory and it is our Joy. It is His Glory, and it is our Joy. Whatever we find in Christ Jesus the full richness of Calvary we have the Pure Joy of His Victory. It is only when we get away from Calvary that we feel condemned. But praise God there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not the flesh but after the Spirit. Oh, How God wants to set us totally free from any condemnation. The flesh is what condemns us, and so the devil, but when we choose to believe God in His Word we will rise up in the Joy of our very Redeemer, the Bridegroom of our Souls, and we will be forever in debt to His Love. That we may be witnesses of that great Love shown on Calvary and what He has done in our lives, that others may experience The Love of Calvary birth in their hearts, and their very souls ignited by the fiery Love of their Redeemer.

 

It is a choice that we make every day of our lives. I once heard that the safest place in a fire is where the fire has already been burnt out, and the safest place in judgment is where the judgment has already took place, and praise God the Judgment took place there on Calvary where the very Lamb of God was judge for us. He took the full wrath of God’s Judgment and now we who believe in Him and trust in Him every day of our lives do enter into that very judgment. Jesus Christ the Lover of our Souls, is our very High Priest, and we can count on Him to show mercy to us and we know that He is ever faithful So let us praise Him forever for who and what He truly is.
