Seek The Lord
While He May Be Found

Seek the Lord while He may be found. Hallelujah! As we look into these verses we will see what the Lord God Almighty is talking about. [1]... Seek the Lord while He may be found. 
[2]... We must call upon Him while He is near. 
[3]... Let the wicked man forsake his way. 
[4]... The unrighteous man his thoughts. 
[5]... Let him return to the Lord. This is what a man has to do, and believe me when a man does this, and is obedient to what God's Holy

Spirit has to say, he will be blessed abundantly. When a man obeys, there is promises that God has to keep, for God cannot lie. It is impossible for God to lie. Here is God's part. [1]... He will have love, 
[2]... He will have pity on him. 
[3]... He will have mercy on him. 
[4]... He will abundantly pardon. You may think that is impossible that a man who is so horrible, and look at all the things that he has done.

How can God forgive someone who acted that way? How can God forgive someone who has done such horrendous crimes? Then the Spirit of God comes right back with these words [1]... My thoughts are not your thoughts. 
[2]... My ways are not your ways. 
[3]... As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways above yours 
[4]... And so are my thoughts higher than your thoughts. You say, Wow! How can I truly be forgiven for what I have done? Look into God's

Word, and if you are obedient to Him and confess your sins to Him, and repent and turn away from your wicked ways, He will multiply His abundant pardon to you. In fact He will remove them as far as the east is from the west, so will He remove your transgressions (Psalms 103:12) Hallelujah! Bless the Lord oh my soul. We don't serve a weak God, But He is Mighty, to demolish for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds. Everything that exalts itself above the knowledge of God, we are to pull them down and we are to take every thought captive into the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) That obedience is the very death of the cross that Jesus Christ died on, He slew that dragon in the cross, and we can rise up and celebrate in the victorious power of our Lord Jesus Christ. That He destroyed the devils work in the cross.

Colossians 2:13-15 says. You were dead in sins, and your sinful desires were not yet cut away, then He gave you a share in the very life of Christ, for He forgave all your sin, and blotted out the charges proved against you, the list of His commandments which you had not obeyed He took this list of sins and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ cross. In this way God too away satan's power to accuse you of sin, and God openly displayed to the whole work Christ triumph at the cross where your sins were all taken away. Oh the devil don't want you to know this, because he is a liar and he’ll always discredit the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. But Jesus Christ did a perfect work in the cross. He finished the work that He came to do. Just think He has given to us His very Holy Spirit. He is the promised One who was to come and lead us into all the truth. The very cross of our Lord Jesus Christ was to become to us the very fact and example what He did to pharaoh.

Even as God said in Exodus 14:4, I will harden (make stubborn, strong) Pharaoh's heart.... and I will get Me honor and Glory over Pharaoh and all his host.... And the Lord goes on to say, that the Egyptians shall know that I Am the Lord. We never have to fear the enemy, for God never changes. As the Lord God said He would get the glory over Pharaoh and his host, and how did He do it? By drowning them in the sea. Hallelujah! What He saved His people in, He destroyed pharaoh and his host in. Our God Reigns! Jesus Christ got the glory and honor over the flesh, for the flesh was condemned on the cross. and He absolutely destroyed the devil's works on the cross, by becoming sin offering for us. What Jesus destroyed the devil and his host in, He saved us through. We go through the cross the same way that Israel went through the sea.

Anyone that can't believe that musk ask the Holy Spirit for the truth of God's Holy Word. I believe the Holy Spirit to be the Spirit of truth, and the more that we think about His Word and are obedient to His Word we honor Him, and it is the Holy Spirit's job to honor and bring glory to Jesus Christ. He is the very Spirit of obedience within us. Causing us to be obedient us to be obedient to Jesus Christ. Now everything that was written in the old testament was written for our learning. And everything was a shadow of Christ Jesus. He is the Lord of all. how God destroyed Pharaoh in the sea, is exactly what He had done with the power of sin. The very Christ became the last Adam, and the second man. He came to reveal the glory of the Father.

Hallelujah! I get so excited to that there is hope in Christ Jesus. For all of our He brought to the cross and destroyed them in it. For when we trust Him to do the work within us, He will destroy the power of sin, as we surrender out flesh to the cross. Our flesh is the cross that we bear, and we must realize that we are capable of doing the most horrible sin and if we allow our flesh to have it's own way we will fall into sin.

For the flesh is the very thing that we have to deny, we must pick up the cross and realize that the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak, and thereby walk in the fear of the Lord. Fearful of not being in His Presence. When we walk out of His presence we are devil's food. The gook news is that if we do sin there is an advocate for us, Jesus Christ the righteous One. You see, Mercy and Righteousness kissed at the cross. Mercy hung on the cross and righteousness look down from heave and declared the work was finished. So if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Christ Jesus exalted over the flesh by being raised from the dead, and He took sin and brought it to hell where it belongs. I had a glimpse one time of what hell was like. The thing that we lusted after whatever it was, you would burn with desire with never a fulfillment of it. That is the demons of lust.

If you are lusting after something you better get rid of that thing, because that will be the thing that will destroy you. Jesus Christ paid an awful price for our release from sin's power. That power of sin has met it's destiny at the cross, and only if you will allow the Holy Spirit His rightful place within you to bring that horrible thing to the cross, and destroy it in the fires of the cross, and allow Him to live. Therefore we have His very nature within us and there is a battle that goes on, because the flesh and the Spirit strives against one another. The flesh strives against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh, so we can't do what we want. That is why we must all the Holy Spirit to reign supreme in our lives, as God's Word says,

If we live in the Holy Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Then we will not perform the lust of the flesh. When we listen to the Holy Spirit, He will convict us of what is wrong. If we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ we will surrender that thing to the Holy Spirit. God wants us to grow up into mature sons of God. We recognize that there is no good thing in the flesh, but we must come to the very fact that we have been crucified with Christ, never the less I live, Yet not I, but Christ He lives within me, and the very life that I am living I am living by the faith of the Son of God who loved me so much that he gave His very life up for me. This is where the victory lies. Many realize that the flesh is sinful, but they never get past that. They stay in Romans 7 and surrender to defeat, instead of getting up and going all the way to the very victory of the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As Paul says in Romans 7:25. After he had such a struggle with his lower nature, and came to a screaming helpless cry. O, Unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from (the shackles of) this body of death. Listen to his delight to the answer that God gave him. Evidently the Spirit of the lord showed him what had happened at Calvary. This is why he could say with such delight. O! Thank God! He will! Through Jesus Christ! The anointed One, our Lord! So then indeed I of myself with the mind and heart serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. You see, there is a law, and it is who we are obedient to. obedience to God, or obedience to sin. With one, it is life and blessings, with the fruit of holiness, and with the other, it is death, and curses. Some people get so upset when we say there is a freedom from sin's power. The devil gets really angry when the truth is spoken out. When we start making excuses for the flesh, we are going to give it an opportunely to act up, and we are not to give our flesh the time of day. We don't owe anything to it. We are not debtors to the flesh. Let us look at Romans 8:12-14.
 

So dear brothers, you have no obligations whatever to your old sinful nature, to do what it begs you to do. [v.13] For if you keep on following it you are lost and will perish, but, if through the power of the Holy Spirit you crush it's evil deeds, you shall live, for all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. [Living bible] So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh, we are not obligated to our carnal nature, to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh. v.13] for if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh you will surely die. But if through the power of the Holy Spirit you are habitually putting to death, making extinct, deadening the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever. v.14] For all who are led by the Spirit of God, are sons of God. [Amplified bible] Beloved the Holy Spirit was talking to the roman believers, not to unbelievers. We are to recognize that we are dead to the power of sin.

Romans 6 says
We know that our old unregenerate self was nailed to the cross with him in order that our body of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin. Vv.7] for when a man dies he is freed loosed, delivered from the power of sin. v.11] Even so recognize yourself also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but that you are alive to God, living in unbroken fellowship with him, in Christ Jesus. Vv.8 Living bible] and since your old sin loving nature "died with

Christ, we know that you will share his new life. 
Vv.9 Christ rose from the dead and will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. 
V.10 he died once for all to end sin's power, but now he lives forever in unbroken fellowship with God. 
Vv.11 so look upon your old sin loving nature as dead and unresponsive to sin, and instead be alive to God, alert to him, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So don't make up excuses and say we can't live in the spirit at all times. We don't have to surrender to the cry of sin. When something happens to us and we want to act up, ask the Lord to keep you from sinning in this situation, and beloved he will do just that. He is greater than that thing. It is a learning process. I remember when i was so impatient and i was wanted more patience, and I read in a book one time that if we take 1 Corinthians 1:30, where the word states that Jesus Christ was made wisdom for me from God, and put the word patience there, he would become our patience.

So I tried that. Every time I went to get impatient, I would say Christ Jesus was made patience for me from God, and peace would set in. And then impatience would rise up again, and again I cried Christ Jesus was made patience for me from God, and peace came in, I don't know how many times i had done that, but that thing was destroyed, and peace became the ruler. Why? Because the Spirit of the Lord Jesus who is that very patience came in to rule in my heart where that thing was trying to destroy me. When we are going forth in victory and stumble, we can get up and ask god to forgive us, and that is not intentional sin. When the devil tries to make us worry, we can by the power of the holy spirit bring that thing to Calvary, same with fear, and all the tools that the devil might use to get you to act up, and use your flesh. there is a way of escape all the time, and i am so glad that there is. As 1 Corinthians 10:13 says.
 

But remember this, the wrong desires that come into your life aren't anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible, you can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it, for he has promised this and will do what he says. He will show you how to escape temptation's power so that you can bear up patiently against it. Vv.14 so dear friends, carefully avoid idol-worship of every kind. There are many times that we must go and see what christ has accomplished for us in the cross, and stand in that promise that is was finished on Calvary. That is our blessed hope. We can moment by moment give our lives to the Holy Spirit. He keeps us moment by moment. And it is always by faith that we trust him to do this. Praise to his holy name. Yes we are very weak individuals, but when we are weak, Christ strength is made strong. And when we turn the problem over to him, he can in his strength perform great things.

So let us not make any excuses for the flesh, it is a horrible thing and deserves nothing but death. Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life, and looking forward to his return! When we look forward to his return we will not become bored, but we will be living in the light of his return, and we don't know how many minutes we do have. he is the one who has given to us our breathe, and he can take it back anytime he wishes. When we sin intentionally we are going against God's word. When God says something is wrong, let us not fight against him with what we want, but let us forsake our very selves so that he might live.

Let us stop thinking about ourselves, and let us get our affections on things that are above, like God himself says in his word, if you then are risen with Christ set your affections on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God, and not on the things of the earth. And let us do what Jesus Christ tells us to do. Pray with me for an hour, be in intimate relationship with me. Do not be in such an hurry to go do things for me, but come apart and learn of me by taking my yoke upon you and I will teach you the humility how to be lowly in heart, how to surrender to the disciplines of the spirit. Come to really know me and my power for and in you and come and know the love that I have for you.

How can we know someone unless we spend time with that person? Our Lord Jesus Christ is telling us. To be with him for an hour. And believe me that hour grows, and you'll find yourself thinking about him wherever you are at. Praising him will become a garment that fits very nicely, and you'll find yourself in his presence no matter where you are. We can have our thoughts upon him, and his Spirit singing songs within us. It is so wonderful to hear him singing to the father, and to Jesus Christ. We can dwell within his presence, and when we are in his presence we will be singing his songs all the daylong. I know this for a fact, for the Lord God almighty has given a song within my mouth and my heart, and he is the very gift of that life. I enjoy the music that goes on within me, and to listen to him praise.

Even when i was terrified over my son not coming home one night, and I cried, and wept because I was looking in the natural, and then I would hear the Spirit of the Lord singing this song, he has done great things, and i would listen to him, and then i would cut him off and chose to cry over the situation, and then the Spirit of the Lord would come and sing the song again, trying to woo me in my sorrows, and I would listen for awhile, but then chose to rather look at the situation and cry instead of believing the Spirit of the Lord and his greatness.

Then the Lord Jesus went to jail and woke up a prisoner, and showed the prisoner a picture of me in black, and the prisoner said, Lord what is wrong with betty, and the lord said betty is just like peter she is denying me, and tell her there would be more denials, and of course the prisoner had a work release, and he worked in the same place that Bob and I worked, and he asked me what I was crying during the night for. And I said my son didn't come home, and he said the Lord said you were denying him, and there would be more denials, and i immediately went back to last night, and replayed what happened, and beloved I was denying the lord, because i had refuse to listen to him singing, that he had done great things.

Oh how we can deny the lord even when we think we are not. I hope this makes sense to you all. Because if we are not careful we can deny the Lord, no matter how mature we think we are, and praise god there is forgiveness, and if we cry out for the Holy Spirit to rule and reign in every situation, he will deliver us from what we can't deliver ourselves from. But I don't need to have this thing be a stumbling block in going to a higher realm where Christ has won for us. And that is a deeper death in Christ. beloved every day we can enter into that very death of Jesus Christ. he paid the price for us. and the price is right. all we need to do is trust in him to perform his wonderful work in us through the holy spirit. In time we will be willing and obedient to his voice. As Isaiah 1:19 says, if we are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.

So praise God, his Holy Spirit can and will sing in and through us, if we allow him to. And he can show us the mighty things God has ready for those who trust in him, for he takes what is in god's heart and reveals them to us. So when we are dwelling in his presence, we will be singing his praises all the daylong. And it is not judge by our experience, but by the word of God, if we choose to believe we can have what God says is for us.

Psalms 84:4 says blessed, happy, fortunate, and to be envied are those who dwell in your house and your presence; they will be singing your praises all the day long. I know that it is not impossible, because there is a song that he puts within us and many see that song, and they begin to trust the lord. In fact we can be in him all the days of our lives. Back in 1971 i decided to become a praiser of our Lord Jesus Christ, the devil came back with, you are going to look stupid praising god over something you don't like doing, but i didn't listen to that voice, I didn't know many Christian songs, so I said to myself I will sing hallelujah to all the songs that I knew, and before long praising was so natural to me, and it was so wonderful, and the Lord would give me songs to sing, songs no one else knew. And I was so happy, and beloved it is worth every minute of your time to be for the lord Jesus Christ, because of who he is and what he has done.

So our voices should be for the Lord and not used for the flesh and the devil. Let not the devil have rule in you through your flesh. it is not worth it. you will be miserable creatures. Because god created us to praise him, and to fellowship with him, and the devil hates us because we belong to god, and we are his treasures, and the devil wants to mar that image. But if we will continue to flow and follow the Holy Spirit we will never be disappointed. Did you know that our Lord Jesus Christ tells us that we are going to be judged for every idle word that we have spoken? Now before you get all up tight.

Let us look at Matthew 12:35-37
V 35 the good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner storehouse flings forth evil things. 
V.36] But i tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle [inoperative, non-working] word they speak. 
V.37] for by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. No one can tame the tongue, as Spirit of God says in James 3: the whole chapter is on the tongue, and how the tongue is set on fire from hell itself, and how we can tame everything, but the tongue, but if we surrender our tongues to the Holy Spirit we can speak with new tongues.

Mark say in 16:17,
And those who believe shall use my authority to cast out demons, and they shall speak with new languages, 
V.18 they will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won't hurt them, and they will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them. So back to the tongue, it can destroy the whole body, not only your body, but the fellowship of believers you belong to. The Pharisees were always after Jesus, and when Jesus spoke about the blaspheming the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ was saying it to those Pharisees, that were calling his works of the devil. They were blaspheming the Holy Spirit. They were speaking against the Spirit of his Father, and when we do works in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of his Holy Spirit and someone says that we are doing the works of the devil. It is just like the Pharisees who were calling what Jesus Christ was doing the works of satan, many because of ignorance and because of false teaching will accuse someone of doing works from the devil.

Jesus even tells us in Matthew 10:24-25
V. 24 a disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant or slave above his master, 
V.25 it is sufficient for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant or slave like his master. if they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they speak evil of those of his household. And that person is going to be judged by those words. It will be words that will condemn you, if you do not repent from the wickedness of calling the works of the Holy Spirit of the devil. The devil hates it when Christians speak in new tongues because it is a mystery, and so he tries to discredit it and stop God's people from speaking in tongues. You see everything that God has, the devil has a counterfeit of it, and tries to stop the one whom the Spirit of the Lord gave a prayer language to. You see when we speak in an unknown tongue by the Spirit of the Lord we are edifying and improving our selves, we can't edify a church by speaking in tongues, unless it is interpreted, we edify and improve the church when we prophesy. It is just like a person building up their physical body by lifting weights, and something does happen to their muscles, so in the spiritual, when we edify and improve ourselves, by speaking to God in our spiritual language, something happens to us, we get closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Look at what Jude says in verse 20
But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith, make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher, praying in the Holy Spirit, 
V.21 guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord

Jesus Christ, the Messiah, unto eternal life. Let us look at Ephesians and see how we can offend the Holy Spirit. 

Ephesians 4:29-31 you will see that it is the tongue again.
V. 29 Let no foul or polluting language nor evil word, nor unwholesome or worthless talk ever come out of your mouth; but only such speech as is good and beneficial to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace to those who hear it. 

V.30 and do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, [do not offend, or vex, or sadden him] by whom you were sealed [marked, branded as God's own, secured] for the day of redemption of final deliverance from evil and the consequences of sin.

V.31] Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath [passion, rage, bad temper] and resentment [anger, animosity] and quarreling, [brawling, clamor, contention] and slander [evil speaking, abusive or blasphemous language] be banished from you, with all malice [spite, ill will or baseness of any kind]. You know the word of God states, that what is in our hearts is going to come out, we really show whether we really belong to Christ Jesus or not.

You can tell by one's speech who they belong to. You see you can't say Jesus Christ is your Lord, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. And if Jesus Christ has your tongue, you are not going to curse one of God's children and make fun of them. And call them all kinds of satanic names. All who are born from above love God and his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous. If we say we love God, then we are going to love those who are begotten of God. You know the word of God tells us not to sit in the seat of the scornful. And when you hear someone running one of God's precious children down, or making fun of them, [because they are believing what God has to say in his word]. We should immediately leave that place.

There is coming and it is here, vicious lies from the pits of hell against god's anointed ones. look how David would not even dare to touch Saul when he had the chance. he said how can I touch God's anointed, you must remember Saul lost the anointing, but David would not dare to even lift a finger against him. When I read that, I said but he's not God's anointed, he lost it, but David didn't see it that way, how much more should we be with the people of God, and those who have fallen, we should cry out for mercy and grace for them, unless they committed the sin that can not be forgiven.

1 John 5:16
if you see a Christian sinning in a way that does not end in death, you should ask god to forgive him and God will give him life, unless he has sinned that one fatal sin. But there is a sin that ends in death and if he has done that, there is no use to praying for him. The Holy Spirit must lead us into all truth. And he is the very holiness of God within us, if we belong to God, then his Holy Spirit is within us. We carry the Holy Spirit within our bodies. We must allow him his rightful place, and not mock him with the devils crowd. The Holy Spirit knows those who belong to Jesus Christ, and who have surrendered their lives to him. And he is the one who disciplines us and makes us see the light, if we are willing to listen to him. He is the one who makes us present when Jesus Christ comes.

That is why we can't offend him in any way. The way we offend him is to speak against his work that he is doing upon this earth. Many of the devils crowd try to discredit the works of the Holy Spirit, but praise God the holy spirit is there to destroy the very works of the devil, and get that person that the devil is using saved out of the kingdom of darkness. That is what he has done in our lives; he has saved us from the very pits of hell, and of corruption. We were doomed with damnation on our way to hell when the Holy Spirit came and took us out of the very pit we were in so deep, and he has crowned us with his loving kindness and tender mercies.

You see the Holy Spirit is the one who convicts of sin, and he will even come and convict the one who the devil will try to use to discredit one of God's children. I grant you there are some that are doing the works for money sake and for self-glory, the lord knows those and they will be taken out of the way in time, but in the mean time there is works and gifts that the Spirit of the Lord gives, for the benefit of the church. And we must always look to the giver instead of the one whom he is using the gift through. You see many got their eyes upon the vessel instead of upon the giver of life. Many Pharisees have done just that, and they were the self righteous ones. They could not stand Jesus Christ, because he was altogether someone different from what they were.

There are many promises that the Lord gives to us. When we become righteous before the living God. It is Jesus Christ and his precious blood, and i can hold up the blood and cry it is finished, Jesus said it, and therefore it is done and i choose to believe just that. If the blood of an earthy animal lamb was good enough to protect Israel from the death angel when the blood was applied to the door post and the lintel, how much more will the blood of Jesus Christ protect and cleanse us from all evil. i believe with all my heart that the blood that Jesus Christ shed on Calvary is able to do much more better things then an earthly animal lamb ever could. And his blood speaks better things then what the blood of Able spoke. The blood of Able spoke of vengeance, and the blood of Jesus Christ speaks of mercy toward the sinner. Everything that was in the old tenement was the shadow of better things in Christ Jesus. There is no one who can take me away from that. And I believe the Holy Spirit of the living God is powerful enough to keep us in his power.

The Holy Spirit will never leave us to our own strength to do things, unless we don't allow him to have the control, but when we allow him his rightful place he is able to keep the prayer that jesus prayed in his high priestly prayer in John 17, our Lord Jesus was asking his father to keep them his people from the evil one. Hallelujah, when we trust in him, he is able to do great and wonderful things. Oh how we can boast in what our lord Jesus Christ is doing through the power of his precious Holy Spirit. And when we ask the father for his holy spirit he will give his Holy Spirit to us, for only by the Holy Spirit can we live to bring glory to Jesus Christ. It is when we walk away from him and do our own things, that is when we get into trouble and sin, and God did make a provision for us not to sin.

He gave us a new nature and his Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. I believe Jesus Christ when he said in Luke 11:9-13
so I say unto you, ask and keep on asking, and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking, and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking the door shall be opened to you.

V.10] for every one who asks and keeps on asking receives, and he who seeks and keeps on seeking will find, and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking the door shall be opened. 

V.11 what father among you, if his son asks for a loaf of bread, will give him a stone; or if he asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; 

V.12] or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 

V.13] if you then, evil-minded as you are, know how to give good gifts, gifts that are to advantage to your children, how much more will your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask him! What a wonderful promise. You know the heavenly Father knows what we need, but he wants us to ask him for what we need. Jesus taught us to pray to the Father, and in that prayer he told us to ask for his kingdom to come and his will to be done, and to give us our daily bread, and to keep us from falling into temptation, and to be delivered from the evil one. It would be just horrible if no one ever talk to God the Father?

Some think that God never wants them to ask him for anything, that if he wants them to have something he will give it to them, but the word of God states we have not, because we ask not, and we have not because we want to have it for our own lust. You see the Spirit of the Lord know our hearts and motives of why we ask for things, and we must always ask out of a pure heart, that the father of our Lord Jesus Christ would be glorified, and Jesus Christ himself would be glorified, and this is all done through the holy spirit of the living God living within a heart of a true born again believer. Lord God Almighty, what a wonderful blessing it is to know you as our father. i am so happy that Jesus said, all who comes to him, in no way will he cast out. there are so many people who think they are the only ones, they act like the Pharisee of Jesus day.

Everyone was wrong but them. You know the ones who really love the Lord Jesus are the ones who still are being persecuted, by the self righteous ones. But the Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ says, that all who will live godly lives will suffer persecution. I don't know how people could defend the scriptures in their own strength. It is the Holy Spirit who wrote the word of God through godly men. I love it when the Spirit of the Lord says through peter.

1 Peter 4:1-3.
So since Christ suffered in the flesh (for us, for you) arm yourselves with the same thought and purpose (patiently to suffer rather than fail to please God), for whoever has suffered in the flesh [having the mind of Christ has done with (intentional) sin, has stopped pleasing himself and the world, and pleases God. 

V.2. So that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living by his human appetites and desires, but a life for what God wills. You see we don't have to intentionally sin. We can be done with that. I know of people who use to have such rotten speech, and when the Holy Spirit came into their lives, he gave them a whole new vocabulary. It is so wonderful to see the Holy Spirit at work, and when people start calling what the Holy Spirit is doing of the devil, they put themselves right into the very same place where the Pharisees were at in Jesus time. Everything that Jesus did they said it was of the devil. And Jesus said,

in Luke 12:10
and everyone who makes a statement or speaks a word against the son of man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit [that is, whoever intentionally comes short of the reverence due the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him there is no forgiveness. Why did Jesus say that? Because the religious people were calling the works that he was doing of the devil. And Jesus said the works that i do are not my works but the works of his Father. It was the Spirit of his Father that was working in him. But, these Pharisees could not see it, because they were blinded by there own ignorance. And it is the same today. You still have people call the works that the Holy Spirit does the works of the devil. They give more credit to the devil then they do to the Holy Spirit. They give more glory to the flesh then they do to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a person, and he has feelings. Again let me quote this word of God.

In Ephesians 4:30
and don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God, [do not offend, or vex, or sadden him] by whom you were sealed [marked, branded as god's own, secured] for the day of redemption of final deliverance through christ from evil and the consequences of sin. Oh, how God's Holy Spirit must ache with sorrow of heart when he sees the work that he is doing upon this earth credited to the devil.

Paul through the Holy Spirit says in 2 Corinthians 13:5,
V.2] I have already warned those who sinned formerly and all the rest also, and I warn them now again while I am absent, as I did when present on my second visit, that if I come back I will not spare them, 

V.3] Since you desire and seek proof of the Christ who speaks in and through me. For he is not feeble in dealing with you, but is a mighty power within you. 

V.4 for though he was crucified in weakness, yet he goes on living by the power of God. And though we too are weak in him as he was humanly. Yet, in dealing with you, we shall show ourselves alive and strong in fellowship with] him by the power of God. 

V.5] Examine and test and evaluate your own selves, to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves realize and know thoroughly by an ever increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected! How we must allow the precious Holy Spirit to have his way in our lives, to lead and guide us into all truth.

What is the cross for?. Why did Jesus Christ die on the cross for? It was it to destroy the devil's works, and sin is the devil's work. Anything that is not of God belongs to the devil, and surely the devil wants people to think that they can never be free from their sin that binds them. I believe that God's Holy Spirit can and will protect any child of God, when that child trusts him with all their hearts. And not going off on their own. Remember when we go and do our own thing, we are open targets for the devil. For the flesh is the devil's food, and we must not give him any ground, and if ground was taken we must repent and give the ground back to the Holy Spirit of the living God. The Holy Spirit is not going to bring discredit to the cross of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ shed his precious pure spotless blood upon that cross, and all who trust in the work that he did on the cross will be an overcomer in this world. The grace of God is given to us to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil.

Look at what Romans 8:3-4 says,
for God does what the law could not do, [it's power] being weakened by the flesh, [that entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending his own son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin. God condemned sin in the flesh, subdued overcame, deprived it of it's power over all who accept that sacrifice. Why did God send his precious Son for an offering for sinful flesh? Because he condemned sin in the flesh, and Jesus had to come to this earth with the same human nature that we have, and he had to be born of a virgin, because he could not have contaminated blood. You see the life is in the blood, and we were all condemned to die because we have the blood of Adam. And so this pure holy one had to come and be prepared all of his life to become the ultimate sacrifice for sin, and that he done for us, and when we accept that sacrifice, he, by the power of the holy spirit, subdues, and deprives it of it's power in us.

Now verse 4 says,
So that the righteous and just requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who live and move not in the ways of the flesh, but in the ways of the spirit. Our lives are governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit. And as long as we recognize the flesh and how weak it is and turn it over to the death of Jesus Christ, that is die daily, and allow the spirit of truth to live and reveal Jesus Christ and him crucified in us. Like Paul screamed out, after a bout with covetousness, oh! Wretched man that i am! Who is going to deliver me from this horrible body of death, and praise God! The Holy Spirit of Christ revealed to him, Calvary and what was done there on the cross, how all the wickedness was destroyed, in that cross, in that death. That Jesus took for us.

Hallelujah! What a lie of the devil to say that you can't overcome something, that you have to live with it, and the power of the holy spirit is too weak. Look at what was spoken in Roman's 3:3
What if some did not believe and were without faith? Does their lack of faith and their faithlessness nullify and make ineffective and void the faithfulness of God and his fidelity to his word? 
 

V.4] By no means! Let God be found true though every human being be false and a liar, as it is written, that you may be justified and show to be upright in what you say, and prevail when you are judged by sinful men. Then a lot a people try to justify their acts of wickedness by saying this Scripture; there is no good thing in the flesh. And also this one, we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. They will repeat these scriptures every time that they are doing something that is not right. They do not look at the verse ahead of it, and they do not look at the verse after it. Let us look at it. 
 

Romans 3:21,
but now God has shown us a different way to heaven, not by "being good enough� and trying to keep his laws, but by a new way though not new, really, for the scriptures told about it long ago. Now God says he will accept and acquit us declare us "not guilty� if we trust Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, by coming to Christ, no matter who we are or what we have been like. 
V.23 Yes we all have sinned: all fall short of God's glory. 
V.24] Yet now God declares us "not guilty� of offending him if we trust in Jesus Christ, who in his kindness freely takes away our sins. 
v.25] for God sent Christ Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to end all God's anger against us.

He used the blood of Christ and our faith as the means of saving us from his wrath. It is time to stop giving the devil the credit, that he has more power then he has, the Holy Spirit is the power that is greater than any other power, and it is not by human might or human power but it is by the Spirit of God, and it is time to rise up and take the kingdom of God, and seize it as a precious prize. the holy spirit is the power of God, and a mighty power he is. Hallelujah! We can in the power of the Holy Spirit walk in his redeeming power. You will never know unless you allow him his rightful rule. I love the Holy Spirit of God. He is God, and he is mighty, and he is our life. It is my body, and his life. He is my friend, and can be the friend of anyone who trusts in him to do the works that Jesus has done for us. He is the comforter, and he is the very life that was in Jesus Christ when he walked upon this earth. I know there are times when our flesh will rise up, but we don't have to give in to it, we can by the power of the Holy Spirit have that thing crucified right on the spot, there is always a way of escape that God has provided for us, and i believe that way of escape is the cross. Humbling ourselves under God's Almighty hand, and resisting the devil and he will flee from you. That is what James said by the power of the Holy Spirit.

James 4:7 so give yourselves humbly to God.
V.7 Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 
V.8 and when you draw close to God, God will draw close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and let your hearts be filled with god alone to make them pure and true to him.

Here is what the amplified says in 1 Corinthians 15:33-34
do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships [communion, associations] corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character. 
Vv.34 Awake from your drunken stupor and return to sober sense and your right minds, and sin no more. For some of you have not the knowledge of God, you are utterly and willfully and disgracefully ignorant, and continue to be so lacking the sense of God's presence and all true knowledge of him. I say this to your shame. You know the truth is, that you will become like those who you hang out with. Jesus he had a different spirit and he had no self, or did he ever do things on his own. He completely abandoned himself to the spirit of his father.

Everyday we have to die to self, and god made that way. For us. I just praise the Lord God Almighty, because he is not a man that he should tell or act a lie,

Numbers 23:19 says,
God is not a man, that he should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that he should feel repentance or compunction [for what he has promised]. Has he said, and shall he not do it? Or has he spoken and shall he not make it good? What a blessing that we can trust god with all of our hearts and believe that what he has done in Jesus Christ he has done for eternity, and he will never go back on his word. I love him so much, the more that I see in his word the more that I stand in awe of him. To think of the great love that he has for us, and that we can never grow out of his love, for his love is higher than the very heavens, for he came down from heaven to become like one of us, and his love is wider than all this earth, for he walked the perfect will of the Father, and he had a body prepared for an offering for sin. And his love is greater than all the mountains, no mountain can be compared to his love for us, for he went to Calvary, the mountain of the skull and died for us there, and his love is greater than this whole universe,

There is not a place where we can go that his love can't reach us. His love is deeper than any sin can go, for Jesus Christ went to hell for us and took the keys of hell and death away from satan, and he has given to us his authority in his name, that whatever we bind on this earth he has already bound it in heaven. Whatever we loose on earth he has already loosed it in heaven. He has given to us his very name to use against the enemy. For every knee has to bow before the name of Jesus Christ in heaven on earth and under the earth, and every tongue has to confess that Jesus Christ is lord to the glory of God the father, And he has given us his love to walk in. For the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit he has given to us. I praise God that he has promised us a new heart, and a new spirit, and his Holy Spirit, and we don't belong to the Adam family anymore, but we belong to the family of God. And he wants to glorify his son on this earth in our lives, by the power of the Holy Spirit in us. Let us go forward in the love and might of our lord Jesus Christ, let us lift the banner up high, the banner of the cross, and say along with Paul.

Galatians 6:14
As for me, God forbid that I should boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross my interest in all the attractive things of the world was killed long ago, and the world's interest in me also long dead. V.15] it doesn't make any difference now whether we have been circumcised or not; what counts is whether we really have been changed into new and different people. V. 16] may God's mercy and peace be upon all of you who live by this principle and upon those everywhere who are really God's own. Listen to this, and let this always be our attitude, for my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the cross of our master Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set fee from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate. [The message] So you see we can be free people if we allow the Holy Spirit of god to have his rightful place in our lives, and it is him who prepares the room and the throne for Jesus Christ to rule and reign. So let go of king self, and allow the king of kings to rule and to reign, let this coming year be gloriously lived in the power of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus. He is worthy to be praised. Bless your holy name Lord Jesus for truly you are the Christ the Son of the living God.
