Joy Of The Lord Ministries

I want to deal with this question. It is not in the tone or the emotion that proves whether you are speaking the true word of God. Too many people want the goose bumps, and not what thus saith the Lord. It is not in the screaming that God is speaking, and it is not in the right grammar that proves that it is God. When the Holy Spirit really speaks He glorifies Jesus Christ and it suppose to line up with His Word, And in 1 Thessalonians. 5:19-21. "Do not quench the Holy Spirit, Do not Spurn the gifts and utterances of the prophets [do not despise prophetic revelations nor despise inspired instruction or

exhortation or warning]. But test and prove all things [until you can recognize] what is good; [to that] hold fast."

Whenever The Holy Spirit of the living God speaks, He is responsible for what He says. I tell people when they say the Lord told me this, "If the Holy Spirit really told you that then He is responsible to bring it about. But if He didn't He is not responsible." Too many times people want to prophecy to others, and it is just their words and not coming from the Spirit of the Lord who speaks truth. When the Lord God uses a prophet to speak, He does not use him to be flexible, but to speak for Him. And when a prophesy does not come to pass you know that the Holy Spirit has not given it. Many people have gotten ruined because of someone presuming that the Holy Spirit is doing the talking,

because of the voice the emotion and the goose bumps, and because they think it was a prophet that was speaking. I believe when a true prophet speaks, he/she will be in the fear of the Lord not to presume anything. But there is a learning process that goes on. And I believe that is in your journaling.

Our God is raising up His true prophets where they will be in His presence to get what He has for His Church, and these prophets will not be people pleasers. They will take the brunt of people's rejection and only want to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe there is coming a day when the prophet will be held responsible for what he/she says. There will be an awesome fear of the Lord.

There are so many people that prophesy in closets where no one can hear what they are saying to the one they are prophesying to, and the one that gets the prophesy will say because so and so said it, it must be from the Lord. This is a scary place to be at. Where is the accountability? And yet I had to prophesy to a man that he was going to die. I had to do it in a letter because I was too afraid to face him. Sure enough he was found dead a few months latter. When that happens, if it is of the Lord, it will come to pass.

But our God always warns ahead of time to someone who needs to get his or her life right with God. The Holy Spirit will bring forth a Word to a person that has been seeking in which way he should go. For example in our Charismatic ministers meeting, I saw a door that was closed shut by this minister, and I spoke and said the door you are trying to go through is shut, then I said does this make sense and he said yes thank you. It was what he was asking the Lord direction for. It was not in thus saith the Lord in a stern voice or loud voice but just a normal everyday voice.

Question 2.

When God gives a gift He never takes it back. I believe there is some error in speaking the Word. And people will take for granted that because they feel so awe struck that it is anointed by God. And the person's life can be in sin and will gather to himself or herself a people who will follow them. This happens a lot of times when a cult is getting ready to be started.

It is usually someone prophesying and gathering the people and no it is not pleasing to God or acceptable to Him, that is why you must have the discerning of spirits who is actually speaking. For example: at a Full Gospel fellowship one time when someone was giving their testimony it sounded so good and anointed. When we got home my husband said, "That guy is a liar, and what he spoke was not of God." And then a few months latter we found out he was a liar, and yet speaking presuming under the anointing. I believe we have seen some ministers who have been under the anointing and they were in error of their lives. They have not been right with God. But God had used them. I'm talking about the big ministries that people get all caught up in.

That is why we need the discerning of spirits, not everyone who says lord, lord is of the Lord
